The European Institute for Innovation and Technology (EIT, https://eit.europa.eu/eit-home) is an independent European Union body based in Budapest, Hungary. It was founded in 2008 and represents a unique EU initiative that fosters innovation and entrepreneurship across Europe.
The provincial government of Vojvodina and University of Novi Sad organized the presentation of EIT at Cross-KIC EIT RIS Dialogue Conference, which took place on September 27, 2018 at the University of Novi Sad in the Rector's Chamber Hall. The Conference was being represented by:
University of Novi Sad, Faculties and Schools from Novi Sad, Chamber of Commerce of Vojvodina, Development agencies of Vojvodina, Business incubators of Vojvodina, Clusters of Vojvodina, Companies, Assembly of AP Vojvodina and Provincial secretariats. About 100 participants were present to hear how EU supports commercialization of innovative ideas, assists in making startups, in joining incubators and in different levels of education. Prof. dr Mirjana Kranjac, the assistant manager from Ecopanonia cluster among her presentation about smart specialization strategy of Vojvodina, presented internationalization services within project COSMENERG 4 I and proposed the cooperation between EIT and COSMENERG 4i clusters consortium.
